The imagery in I Breathed a Body #2 is absolutely horrifying. Contrast that with Dalton, who is a company man through and through, prepared to go to war for his boss if that's what it takes. She thinks she's ready and able to do what she must, even if that means literally dissecting Mylo's body during a livestream, but this shocks her a bit. Writer Zac Thompson puts this through a terrifying lens, as I'm sure that any social network would leap at the opportunity to control and monetize this many eyeballs. It forces you to re-examine your current use of social media. The company that owned him and his profile looks to milk this for all its worth, raking in cash from the public's sick fascination until it becomes just another thing that people scroll by. It follows the aftermath of the horrifying death of Mylo, streamed live for millions of his fans to see. As you're doomscrolling through Facebook or Twitter, would you stop and watch the biggest celebrity in the world kill himself? That's where I Breathed a Body picks up with its second issue and it only gets more disturbing from there.
